Joanna is an experienced professional with a strong background in law, tax advisory, and volunteer sector leadership. Beginning her career as a solicitor at Clifford Chance, Joanna transitioned to Coopers and Lybrand/PwC in 1994, where she successfully developed and expanded a tax advisory practice. In 1998, she advanced to Abacus Financial Services, achieving the position of Director within their tax practice. In 2001, Joanna took a career break to dedicate her time to nurturing her family.

More recently, Joanna has contributed significantly to her community through various roles in the voluntary sector. She has served as a member of a youth justice panel and has also acted as treasurer for a local charity, bringing her professional experience and dedication to these impactful roles.
